MY LIFE’S JOURNEY(S)…

An exploration geologist for 20 years, passionately interested in history, culture and archaeology, travelling is part of my nature… an ambition and a way of life !

Much more than just being a way of enjoying well-earned holidays, travelling was part of my life from an early age :

*Journeys around France and Europe from my childhood onwards; on archaeological digs, cultural school trips, “low cost/good value” holidays for a student wanting to explore the world

* Journeys to more and more distant places and for longer periods to the United States, the Middle East, Africa, then to Asia, for a young woman curious about the world

*And finally….10 years living abroad, in the States, in Indonesia, then in Congo-Brazzaville as a young mother, with a passion for exploring and for meeting people from other cultures with her family.

FROM GEOLOGY TO TRAVEL…

I’ve spent a good part of my life in all four corners of the planet, trying to reconstitute the history of the Earth and to understand its evolution over time. During each of my periods abroad, I was introduced to numerous cultures and shared many stories. During these encounters, I always used to explain where I came from, to talk, tell stories about and exchange ideas with others on the subject of this beautiful country which is my home : France.

My project for setting up a travel agency devoted to France therefore evolved quite naturally over the years, as I travelled, spent periods living abroad, and met with other people on every continent : I wanted to provide a fascinating panorama of my own country… and also to

Make people aware of the wealth of its heritage, share its values, reveal the diversity of its culture, and help them explore the beauty of all its regions, on the mainland and in the Overseas Territories.

Give the traveller the chance to visit some of France’s wonderful heritage during cultural tours.
